"That school board shooting video is something else," said one Cleveland mom who viewed the full YouTube.com video from WMBB on the left. "Oh Lord."
The school board shooting video has been shown on Cleveland stations to other TV stations across the world -- with different parts of the video excerpted.
"I'm gonna die today," says 56-year-old Clay Duke -- the school board shooter -- claiming to the head male guy in the center, "You fired my wife."
"I'm gonna die today," he repeats, after letting the women and children leave the room. Ginger Littleton bravely reentered and tried to smack the gun away with her purse.
"I've been in the system..." the school board shooter's target -- school superintendent Bill Husfelt -- begins explaining, in the way that folks are advised to do when dealing with a killer.
"I've got a great wife, I've been married to her 40 years. Please just talk to us," Husfelt begs.
"If I can help your wife get a job somehwere else..." he tries again. "She was fired, where did she work?"
"Man, I'm a school safety officer," says another voice in the back of the room, off camera.
"I'm the one that signed the paper, right? Let them go. Will you let them go?" Husfelt honorable asks the school shooter. "You're obviously upset with me -- so let them go."
"You said we don't need no taxes. Then as soon as you gutted the school system, you said oh we can have sales tax again," the shooter rants.
Duke opens fire after Husfelt begs, "Please don't, please don't."
Thankfully, the school board shooter missed after firing plenty of shots -- and apparently used a bullet to kill himself, not seen on the video.
